11:00am – HOOSEGG
Intimate Tasting Experience with Winemaker Philip Shaw at HOOSEGG, 45 Caldwell Ln, Borenore NSW 2800. It is the perfect opportunity to sample each of HOOSEGG’s amazing wines with winemaker Philip Shaw overlooking the vineyard with views to Mount Canobolas. Each of these wines are rated highly by Huon Hooke at ‘The Real Review’. The Seven Heaven Chardonnay was voted the best Chardonnay in Orange, our Shiraz top in NSW and our Cabernet Franc the best in Australia and New Zealand. HOOSEGG was rated as the 15th Top Winery in Australia by The Real Review, with ratings of 96 points for both the Jade Moon and Double Happy. These are small parcels of wine that can stand amongst the finest wines from anywhere. The wines reflect Philip’s philosophy on wine making; select an exceptional site and the right varieties. Marry the vineyard and the winemaking. These are wines made with the lessons learnt from the past 60 years of winemaking; elegant, vibrant, intense and complex. They are wines that all wine lovers, will relish.

Wine tasting at Ross Hill Wines, 134 Wallace Ln, Orange NSW 2800. The wines available on the tasting list have been chosen by the Chief Winemaker to best represent both the Orange Wine Region and the Ross Hill Vineyards. Sourced locally, Ross Hill’s Food & Wine Flights include seven food matches to enhance delicious range of wines. These include, amongst others, Fourjay Farm hazelnuts and meats from Cured.
3:00pm – Nashdale Lane Wines
Wine tasting at Nashdale Lane Wines, 125 Nashdale Ln, Nashdale NSW 2800. This wine tasting experience includes a curated range of five handcrafted, estate wines – including White, Rosé & Red wines all grown and proudly made in Orange, NSW, by Nashdale Lane Wines.
5:00pm – PATINA WINES
Wine tasting at Patina Wines, 109 Summerhill Lane, Orange NSW 2800. Patina has a boutique range of Chardonnay, Riesling, Rosé, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Merlot, Sticky Tea Riesling and Liqueur Tawny. The high altitude and volcanic soil enables the vinification of cool climate wines that exemplify finesse, tightness and slow development. As a boutique winemaker Gerald Naef produces wines that are approachable and believes the wines should be released after they have achieved complexity.
